Montreal Canadiens forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi was loaned to Pori Assat of the Finnish elite league, Liiga on October 16th. He played 10 games in that span.
Due to the NHL season ending in early October and with no hockey in site for at least another several months, several players were loaned to European to get playing time prior to training camp.
