The St. John’s IceCaps bounced back. After suffering back-to-back loses against Utica earlier in the week, the IceCaps were able to take three of a possible four points against the Albany Devils.

The man replacing Mark Barberio at the AHL All-Star Game, Vojtech Mozik, opened the scoring just 18 seconds after the opening puck drop. A poor breakout pass by Brett Lernout led to Mozik’s slap shot beating Charlie Lindgren.
The IceCaps responded 10 minutes later. Jeremy Gregoire redirected Mark MacMillan’s pass to pick up his sixth goal of the season.
