Eric Crawford named director of pro scouting

PRESS RELEASE

MONTREAL -- Eric Crawford enters his second season with the Montreal Canadiens after 16 years as a member of the Vancouver Canucks, including five, from 2010-11 to 2014-2015, as director of player personnel. His duties included the management of professional and amateur scouting staffs. Prior to this role he had served two years as a pro scout, two years as director of professional scouting and three years as the Canucks assistant coach.

Eric graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 and a Bachelor of Education in 1997. The younger brother of Senators associate coach Marc Crawford, Eric is a former player who was named a four-time CIS Academic All-Canadian athlete.
