Former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight Tim Hague has succumbed to the injuries he sustained in a knockout loss this past Friday, in a boxing match. On Sunday, Hague was taken off life support and pronounced dead at an Edmonton, Alberta hospital.
Hague was 34 years old.
The news of the UFC veteran's death was confirmed by his sister Jackie Neil via Facebook on Sunday afternoon.
“It is with incredible sadness, sorrow and heartbreak to report that Tim has passed away today,” wrote Neil. “He was surrounded by family, listening to his favourite songs.
