For the UFC, Wanderlei Silva (pictured) is like the ex-girlfriend that just won’t go away, so now they need assistance from the legal system. The latest drama between the two has been taken new heights – the Clark County District Court in Las Vegas.
Last week, the now-retired Silva claimed he had “proof” that the UFC “fixes fights.” Late Tuesday night, the UFC quietly fired back by filing a lawsuit against Silva for making “false and defamatory statements.”
After an illustrious career in PrideFC, Silva finally re-joined the UFC in 2007 but was a shell of himself at that point.
