Dustin Poirier didn’t just score the biggest victory of his career on Saturday night. He also takes home an extra $50,000.
The lightweight contender had a wild and compelling matchup with former UFC and WEC champion Anthony Pettis in the main event of UFC Norfolk before earning the victory in the third round via injury TKO.
For their efforts, Poirier and Pettis both take home Fight of the Night bonuses.
There were also a pair of worthy winners of Performance of the Night bonuses: Matt Brown, who finished Diego Sanchez with a nasty elbow knockout; and Raphael Assuncao, who scored a third-round knockout of Matthew Lopez.
