A look back at Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum's first fight will have to do for now, as Cain has officially been ruled out of his much-anticipated rematch against "Vai Cavalo," which was supposed to go down at UFC 207 on Dec. 30, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The duo initially went toe-to-toe at UFC 188 back in June of 2015, in a 265-pound title-unification match. After back-an-forth action for the first two rounds, "Vai Cavalo" ultimately submitted Cain in the third round via guillotine. Cain was looking for some much-desired revenge in "Sin City," looking to get one back on the man who dethroned him, and in the process set himself up for another shot at the belt.
