Nearly nine years ago, just a day before he was to fight Sokoudjou in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Gegard Mousasi sat down to a rib eye steak, a baked potato and a bowl of spaghetti and talked about what he wanted to accomplish in mixed martial arts.
