Veteran referee Robert Byrd will be the third man in the ring when Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor square off at the T-Mobile Arena on Aug. 26.
Byrd was selected to officiate the 10-round boxing match between the undefeated pound-for-pound great and the UFC lightweight champion during a Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting on Wednesday.
