We learn more about ourselves by studying the science into what makes us. In organic chemistry, atoms bond with each other chemically for a number of reasons, such as sharing electrons (covalent bonds). These bonding pairs have a lasting attraction to one another because the sharing of electrons allows them to secure a full outer shell, which creates stability.
