The legendary Manny Pacquiao made his return to the boxing ring last night (Sat., Nov. 5, 2016) from Thomas & Mack Center in Paradise, Nevada, as he took on WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas on Top Rank pay-per-view (PPV). Pacquiao was fighting for the first time since defeating Timothy Bradley via unanimous decision back in April, while Vargas was competing in his second-straight title fight since losing to the same Timothy Bradley via unanimous decision back in 2015. With common opponents set aside and gloves around their fists, Pacquiao and Vargas went to war.
In classic form, Pacquiao put the pressure on Vargas from the get go.
