Anthony Getschel, the man accused in the hit-and-run death of former UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in an Edmonton court on Monday, according to a report from CBC.
Jimmo was killed in a truck driven by Getschel following an argument in the parking lot of a bar in Edmonton on June 26, 2016. Jimmo was transported to a local hospital and died of his injuries at age 34.
According to a statement of facts read in court, Getschel was drinking at a bar with his friend and girlfriend but left after fighting with other patrons.
