With just over two weeks to go before fight night, featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas does have a new opponent to face at UFC on FOX 26. Following an initial report from Farah Hannoun, MMA Fighting confirmed that Lamas will take on Josh Emmett on December 16th.
Lamas (18-5) was originally scheduled to rematch Jose Aldo in the night’s co-main event, but Aldo has since been switched to this weekend’s UFC 218, where he’s filling in for the injured Frankie Edgar against reigning champion Max Holloway.
