In the past few weeks, it was revealed that Jon Jones failed his second drug test under the USADA era (he also had a drug test fiasco prior to the new anti-doping policy), one that could have very grave consequences. After his ‘B’ sample tested positive for the same anabolic steroid, his win has been overturned, and his belt has been stripped for a third time.
During that stretch, the former champion has remained largely silent apart from a few somewhat cryptic tweets that didn’t specifically address these issues. Thursday night, he finally spoke about the drug test directly.
