Souza signed his new deal Friday afternoon. He was set to become the hottest free agent in MMA following Saturday’s fight with Robert Whittaker at UFC on FOX 24.

MMA reporter Ariel Helwani is reporting that it’s an eight-fight extension, which begins with tomorrow’s fight. Financial terms of Souza’s new deal were not disclosed, but the Brazilian couldn’t be happier.
