Gegard Mousasi has resorted to openly voicing his issues with the Professional Fighters League after multiple attempts to contact the promotion were allegedly ignored.
Mousasi revealed that he hasn’t been contacted by PFL since the Bellator MMA acquisition in November 2023. The former Bellator middleweight champ believes people already consider him retired and clarified that he is looking for a fight.
“I don’t get any news from the PFL or Bellator. People think I’m retired actually. That’s why this interview saying that I’m waiting for a fight. I have a contract with them but it feels like they don’t feel obligated [to honor] the contract,” Mousasi told MMAjunkie.
