Due to some unfortunate circumstances, Devin Powell has a gym story that can top the majority of his peers.
The two-time UFC competitor revealed via Instagram that he suffered a ruptured testicle while sparring with teammate Joe Lauzon. Perhaps the most shocking note about the incident was that Powell says he waited a day and a half before going to a hospital.
“Thanks to the fine ambulatory services in Wells, ME, I am checked into the hospital and ready for surgery. Shout out to [Joe Lauzon] we’ve been practicing knees on the ground and he successfully ruptured my testicle with his sheer power,” Powell wrote.
