It looks like Scott Coker has an opponent for Cris Cyborg’s next Bellator Women’s Featherweight title defense, the UFC veteran, Cat Zingano.
In his interview with MMA Junkie, Coker said that he is planning to bring back Cyborg in the first few months of 2022. The main issue is that there aren’t many opponents left to challenge Cyborg for her title, so it makes Zingano’s request for a title shot more likely to be fulfilled. Bellator is planning on holding multiple events starting in February through March and April, so it’s only a matter of working out the details to get this fight done within this year.
