Alexander Volkanovski managed to avoid the trademark Darren Elkins rally at UFC Fight Night 133, and he did so while competing at less than 100 percent.
The Australian prospect improved to 5-0 in the Las Vegas-based promotion, as he dropped Elkins twice, bloodied his opponent and held an for a unanimous decision triumph at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho, on Saturday night. Volkanovski halted a six-bout winning streak for Elkins, who had made a habit of rallying from dire predicaments in some of his previous victories.
