Nasrat Haqparast was removed from a scheduled lightweight bout against Nad Narimani at UFC Fight Night 127 on Saturday due to what was described by promotion officials as an "infectious eye condition." Initial speculation, including that of UFC announcer John Gooden during the broadcast, was that Haqparast was afflicted by conjunctivitis, better known as “pink eye.
