Warrant Issued For Jon Jones, UFC Champ To Surrender For Felony Hit-And-Run

The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion has made arrangements with the ABP to surrender this evening.

Jones is facing a felony charge after the 25-year-old female he reportedly struck suffered a broken arm and wrist. Had she not endured the fractures, Jones would have just been charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run.

According to the police report, Jones ran a red light and hit the pregnant woman’s car into a third vehicle. Jones took off up the mountain, then circled back to grab a “large handful of cash” from his rental car and bolted back up the hill.

An off-duty officer was on the scene and was able to easily identify Jones because “I watch UFC all the time, I know what Jon Jones looks like.
