Vitor Belfort apologizes for loss to Weidman, says he will be back 'in full strength'

Things did not go according to the plan for UFC middleweight contender Vitor Belfort in his title shot against champion Chris Weidman at UFC 187. After a flurry of punches in the opening minutes, Belfort was then taken down, mounted and quickly TKO'd by Weidman before the first horn sounded.

Despite the sudden loss, however, "The Phenom" says he is not done just yet.  As he wrote on his Instagram, he will spend time with his family, but plans on coming back stronger than before.

"I'm always happy, but I must confess I'm still sad with my performance at UFC 187.
