A police report has emerged with new details about the three car crash in Albuquerque involving UFC light heavyweight champion and top ranked pound for pound fighter in the world, Jon Jones. The full police report was released to MMAJunkie.com earlier today.
According to the police report, Jones was driving a rental car, a Buick SUV, with marijuana and a pipe on hand when he ran a red light causing the crash. Documents inside the vehicle were found identifying “Jonathan Jones” that contained “MMA information” of them.
The crash involved a pregnant woman who suffered a broken arm which has forced police to issue a warrant for the arrest of Jones with the charge of “Leaving the scene of an accident involving death or personal injuries.
