When you just know you know right?
A couple of weeks ago right before the transfer deadline in Europe, NYCFC’s sister club Manchester City made a surprising signing. They scooped up the Venezuelan defensive midfielder Yangel Herrera and many speculated that he would eventually make his way to the Big Apple.
After confirmed by the club Tuesday, that speculation is now a reality as Herrera will join NYCFC on a season long loan from Manchester City. After acquiring an international slot just days ago from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for allocation money, Herrera will use up the last slot.
