Wednesday was a big night for the MLS Cup playoff race. The night started off with DC United beating Columbus 3-0, hurting the Crew’s chances of a playoff finish while at the same time helping United solidify their 6th place spot even more. Soon afterwards, Toronto and Orlando finished at a 0-0 draw, giving each side a point, pushing Toronto up to first in the East by one point and Orlando moved to 4 points behind 6th place DC United.
