The Red Bulls have just incidentally received another added boost to their CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) hopes. CONCACAF officially approved the change of venue today to The Estadio Nacional in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The original date and kick-off time still remain the same despite the move. The game will be played on Thursday, February 22, at 10 p.m. ET.
Amidst political turmoil in Honduras, both Olimpia CD and Honduran side FC Montagua requested a change of venue for the CCL dates.
One week ago, a report surfaced about a location change but instead claimed the new venue would be in Florida, USA.
