Torey Lovullo would be 'honored' by managerial offers

CLEVELAND — Torey Lovullo’s resume has never looked better.

Lovullo was an intriguing managerial candidate before he became the Boston Red Sox’s interim skipper when John Farrell stepped away from the team to treat his Stage 1 lymphoma. Now, with the Red Sox on a solid run to close out the 2015 season, it’s reasonable to wonder what’s next for Lovullo.

“I haven’t really thought much about that,” Lovullo said of potential managerial offers this offseason. “I haven’t really any expectations of anything other than staying right where I’m at right now. I love the Boston Red Sox.
