Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter should "quit whining" about a makeup game the teams played Thursday after their May 11 showdown was prematurely postponed due to a storm system that never rolled through the nation's capital.
According to the Washington Post's Barry Svrluga, Rizzo's comments were prompted by remarks from Showalter about the weather for Thursday's game, which the Nationals won, 6-1.
"I think it's marginally better tonight," Showalter said of the weather before Thursday's game.
