Mets' Yohan Ramírez's MLB Suspension for Throwing at Rhys Hoskins Reduced to 2 Games

New York Mets relief pitcher Yohan Ramírez's three-game suspension for throwing at Rhys Hoskins has been reduced to two games after an appeal, per MLB.com's Anthony DiComo.

Ramírez was ejected from Saturday's contest against the Milwaukee Brewers after throwing a 94 mph fastball behind Hoskins, earning him a three-game suspension.

DiComo noted that Ramírez likely wouldn't have appeared on Monday or Tuesday regardless because he threw three innings on Sunday. The Mets begin a three-game series with the Detroit Tigers on Monday after losing all three games to the Brewers over the weekend.
