Mariners Turn Triple Play After Astros' Evan Gattis Loses Track of Outs

The Seattle Mariners pulled off a triple play on Thursday against the Houston Astros, albeit with a lot of help from Evan Gattis.

The Houston Astros catcher hit a ground ball to third with men on first and second, and Kyle Seager stepped on the bag before throwing to second baseman Robinson Cano, completing what seemed like a routine double play. But Gattis apparently lost track of the number of outs and took a wide turn around the bag with his head down, allowing first baseman Daniel Vogelbach to tag him out.
