ST. LOUIS -- Tyler Lyons was recalled from Triple-A Memphis to start in place of Michael Wacha for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Washington Nationals.
The National League Central leaders optioned Marco Gonzales, who lasted 2u2154 innings in a spot start in place of Carlos Martinez on Monday, back to Triple-A Memphis before Wednesday night's game.
