CINCINNATI -- Stephen Strasburg of the Washington Nationals left Friday night's game after throwing only 16 pitches to the Cincinnati Reds. There was no immediate indication of his problem.

Strasburg has struggled in May, failing to reach the fourth inning in three of his four previous starts.
