The Houston Astros will square off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2017 World Series. This has the makeup to be a seven-game series and honestly, there is nothing more that is more thrilling than a seven-game series in baseball. The three major questions I have been seeing and hearing surrounding this World Series, Can the Astros pitching slow down the Dodgers offense, who is the most important player in the World Series and can the Dodgers bullpen continue to pitch well? So I wanted to present them to everyone because they really make you think.

1.) Can the Astros Pitching Slow Down the Dodgers Offense?
The pitching of the two aces of the Astros have been amazing in the playoffs. Dallas Keuchel and Justin Verlander have simply dominated but will be tested against a Dodgers lineup who can swing the sticks.The Dodgers have scored 48 runs in eight games and should be well rested. Will the starting pitching for the Astros be well rested after a long series with the Yankees that went seven games? Combined Keuchel and Verlander in the postseason have started seven games, pitched 42 innings, and are 6-1 in those games. I know the question was can the Astros pitching slow down the Dodgers. But as great as Verlander and Keuchel have been that could be their four wins.
2.) Who is the Most Important Player in the World Series?
The biggest player in this series may actually be the smallest player in the series. Jose Altuve this year in the playoffs is batting.400 and in the four games that the Astros have lost, Altuve went hitless in three of them, and has scored only one run in the four losses. He is gas that gets the engine for the Astros rolling. If he has a good series the Astros will win and if he struggles the Dodgers will win the series.

3.) Can the Dodgers Bullpen continue to Pitch Well?
Coming into this series the major blemish for the Dodgers was their bullpen. Sure Kershaw can get to Kenley Jansen most games but what about the other games. Can the Dodgers bullpen continue to pitch well? If this series goes seven which it easily could, having fresh arms and arms that can pitch high-quality innings will be important.
