The most prime student seating location in SEC football is safe — for now.
The Missouri athletics department has temporarily tabled the idea of a Faurot Field sideline swap that would have uprooted the student section, the department confirmed to the Post-Dispatch on Monday.
The plan to flip the Tigers' sideline from the east sideline to the west, a move that will relocate student seating from behind the east sideline (and between the 30-yard lines) is still very much alive. But the installment of the change has been postponed. If setbacks are avoided, the new look will be implemented along with the opening of Memorial Stadium's new south end zone before the 2019 season.
