COLUMBIA, Mo. • A month ago, Missouri football coach Gary Pinkel was unsure if his prized recruit would be on campus this fall. Terry Beckner Jr., a defensive tackle readymade for the Southeastern Conference trenches, “has work to do” to secure his academic eligibility, Pinkel said May 13.
“Hopefully he’s going to be eligible,” Pinkel said. “We’ll see what happens in the next month or so.”
