Unless they sent spies to Columbia to snoop on preseason camp, Mizzou’s first three opponents won’t know much about the collection of wideouts on the receiving end of Maty Mauk’s passes.
The Tigers’ depth chart for Saturday’s 3 p.m. opener against SEMO includes nine wide receivers but only two who have caught a pass in a college game. The others? Four redshirt freshmen, one true freshman and two walk-ons. The team’s most experienced wideout, senior Wesley Leftwich, is out with a sprained knee.
