Mizzou updates: QB Lock 'fun to watch' in early workouts

COLUMBIA, Mo. • Missouri’s football team is one day closer to doing something in practice that reporters can actually watch. Tuesday’s 2 ½-hour practice was No. 6 of preseason camp as the Tigers prepare for Saturday’s first preseason scrimmage.

The Tigers were in full pads Tuesday, after which assistant coaches were available for interviews.

LOCKED IN

Drew Lock is the most celebrated quarterback to sign with Mizzou since Blaine Gabbert in 2008. He’s unlikely to see the field this year, but through six days of practice, quarterbacks coach Andy Hill has been impressed.
