Nearly three months later, Mizzou players insist this weekend’s rematch isn’t really a rematch. For one, the stakes are higher. Whoever wins the best-of-three NCAA super regional series in Ann Arbor, Mich., advances to the Women’s College World Series.
Remarkably, with their coach unsure if he’ll have a job at season’s end, the Tigers (42-14) take a seemingly unshakable confidence on the road this weekend.
