5-8 Mizzou freshman WR O’shae Clark could open eyes in SEC

Missouri’s 2017 national recruiting class didn’t feature a single four- or five-star prospect. But that doesn’t mean the Tigers don’t have some potential breakout stars among its signees.

Former college football and NFL scout Chris Landry is intrigued by O’shae Clark, a three-star prospect from the Houston area.

“Clark’s size is an issue, but he is really fast,” Landry said. “The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder averaged an eye-opening 24.8 yards per reception last year in high school. In only 10 games, he grabbed 70 balls for 1,736 yards and 18 touchdowns. Clark can also return kickoffs and punts.”

Clark — who also ran track at Cypress (Texas) Cy Springs, specializing in the 200 meters — had two games as a senior with three TD receptions.
