Three-star athlete Da’Ron Davis committed to Missouri in November because he was a big fan of Gary Pinkel. He admits he was bummed by Pinkel’s retirement but is sticking with his commitment for two reasons.
One is that he likes new Tigers coach Barry Odom. The other is that he wants to stay close to his Kansas City home.
“Sometime I get homesick, and sometime I start missing my parents,” Davis told GN. “Missouri is only 90 minutes away, so it will be cool.”
Davis (6 feet 2, 190 pounds) stars at Kansas City’s Hogan Preparatory Academy.
