RIDGEDALE – Steve Stricker is making his first trip to the Ozarks this week, playing in the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge.
One of the newest arrivals on the PGA Tour Champions circuit, Stricker had heard all the advance buzz surrounding the region, specifically the natural beauty showcased by the two courses in the mix — the Buffalo Ridge Springs Course and Top of the Rock.
Even though he was prepared by the rave reviews, Stricker still was taken aback when he arrived.
He was left wide-eyed with every new view the Top of the Rock course afforded of Table Rock Lake, and the course’s waterfalls, striking rock formations and bluffs.
