Since the end of the 2016 college football season, it was evident that the Missouri State Bears were going to start a quarterback who had yet to throw a pass in the NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision.
That might not be completely true anymore, however.
On Monday, ex-Rice quarterback J.T. Granato decided his time at Rice had come to an end, and that it was time for him to transfer to a program where he would have the opportunity to play in 2017.
He packed up his car on Tuesday and made the six-hour drive to Abilene Christian University in an attempt to transfer there.
