On May 29, the No. 22 Missouri State baseball team held a watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings to see where and who they will play in the 2017 NCAA Men’s Baseball Tournament.
The Bears didn’t play at a high enough level to host a regional, something that looked possible during the Bears regular season run.
The popular thought was if the Bears could sweep the Missouri Valley tournament, then they might have had a shot at hosting a regional.
After losing as a heavy favorite in the Missouri Valley tournament, the latter unfolded on the Selection Show aired on ESPN2.
