Branson's Link Academy wins GEICO Nationals championship in second year as a program

The best high school basketball program in the nation resides in Branson.

Link Academy, in its second year of existence, is the 2023 GEICO Nationals champion after a 73-55 win over AZ Compass Prep (Arizona) on Saturday in Fort Myers, Florida.

The program, led by first-year head coach Bill Armstrong, avenged its championship loss from its inaugural season a year ago under current Kansas State assistant Rodney Perry. Link finished this year 27-1 which also featured a championship win in its first appearance at the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.

Founded by Adam Donyes, Link Academy was established on the "Link" campus before the 2021-22 season.
