1 win, then 8 wins, now what for Ozark football?

Is Ozark ready to make the jump from good to state title contender?

It's a question Tigers head coach Chad Depee wouldn't touch on Friday night after his team's jamboree against Kickapoo and Nixa.

"We can't really worry about that," Depee said. "The only thing we can worry about was today."

Ozark went 1-9 in Depee's first season in 2015, then improved to 8-3 last season. The Tigers are hoping for a breakthrough in Depee's third year.

But the coach said he's more focused on the process than the end result.

"The only thing we can control is how we are going to prepare," Depee said.
