Mississippi State added three-star athlete Korey Charles to its 2016 class prior to Big Dawg Camp and reeled in another three-star athlete in Nero Nelson immediately following the conclusion of camp Friday night.
Nelson is product of Hollandale-Simmons and is rated the No. 16 prospect in Mississippi according to 247Sports.com. The 6-foot, 170-pounder is also considered the No. 24 athlete nationally.
Nelson also holds offers from Florida State, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss and Southern Miss.
Nelson played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and cornerback for the Blue Devils but is expected to play in the secondary at MSU.
