Yup. It’s official. With a high enough APR along with a couple of bowl vacancies, Mississippi State is able to make a bowl game this season.
With all of that, Mississippi State is officially going to the St. Petersburg Bowl as was reported last night by ESPN’s Brett McMurphy. The Bulldogs will begin bowl preparation soon.
The Bulldogs will take on Miami (Ohio) in what is a program record of 7 straight bowl game appearances. Both teams are riding a bit of momentum into this game with Miami (Ohio) riding a 6 game winning streak (after starting the season 0-6) and the Bulldogs coming off of a November where they upset then 4th ranked Texas A&M and throttled Ole Miss 55-20.
