Mississippi State recently added a commitment from three-star safety Shawn Preston, who likes the school’s family atmosphere.
“It’s a family fit for me, and I liked what Coach (Dan) Mullen and Coach (Ron) English (secondary coach) had in place,” Preston told GN. “I like the plan that they have, and I can see when I go there that everybody is on one page and has a one-track mindset.
“Everybody is trying to achieve one goal and I liked that. I also liked how Starkville is not that far from where I live, so my parents will be able to come see me play and that is a big thing.
