Mississippi State will hold its first fall baseball scrimmage Tuesday at 5 p.m.
But that is not the only news concerning the Diamond Dogs released this week. MSU issued a tentative schedule which has the Bulldogs opening the 2016 season at home in a round robin weekend series against Florida Atlantic and South Dakota State.
State’s first game is slated against FAU for Feb. 19 at 4:30 p.m.
The Diamond Dogs will also take part in the Dodgertown Classic at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on March 4-6. Other teams participating in the event are USC, UCLA and Oklahoma.
