This is a match-up of a couple of BBQ joints. One is a old Hwy 12 tradition (Petty’s) and one is a new place in the Cotton District (Two Brothers).
Both of these places are very small, but very good.
Petty’s is located right on HWY 12, in between Montgomery and Louisville street. You can’t miss it because there’s a BBQ smoker right out front and a window to order food. There is some outdoor seating as well – but it’s not the atmosphere that keeps people coming back, it’s the food.
Petty’s BBQ in Starkville isn’t short on grills or lumber.
